I can't get it to work, tried clicking on the link but nothing happened. I'm a bit crap with tech stuff though so entirely likely I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks for doing this by the way, most cool.

Adam and Rachael: the link has an extra http:// at the beginning - remove that and you can listen to the podcast!

You stars!

I'm one of your absent friends - in Brazil, and so happy that you've done this. I've just subscribed through the link with great excitement, and I must say, I do like the martial music intro - now that's what I call strangely jolly! - and the sound effect following the little gem, "It's the football tonight: kick-off at 8 o'clock and it actually matters" - a point I might have been tempted to argue had I physically been there, so that's already a bonus for you lot.*

In favour of judicious sound effects and portentous (sp?) musical interludes -
they right jazz things up!
Looking forward to the John Toner one,
and listening in from far away
lest you should doubt the point of it,
*Thanks*
Claire.

* Erm, I do feel a little bit sorry for sad and disappointed football supporters, even though professional football - and in fact, prof. sports in general - seem to me to serve as an idiotising, megabrand smokescreen (oh my god! - I'm really sorry - I can't help it! - I'm arguing and I wasn't even at the meeting!)

- and the nationalism! -- (manages to stop self before gets into fight with nearest person - i.e. self) -

But might it be interesting? and strangely enjoyable for people to try and enjoy the football tournament next year without such a massive personal, emotional and national investment in the outcome ... ?

How about a podcast of the Xmas party so I can see what I'm missing?
